EXCLUSIVE: Dominique McElligott (House of Cards, The Astronaut Wives Club ), Beau Bridges (The Mountain Between Us, Masters of Sex), Zhu Zhu (Cloud Atlas, Marco Polo), and Song Yang (The Sword Identify, Wrath of Silence) have come aboard Argentinian director Juan Cabral’s hypnotic drama Two/One. The trio joins Narcos and Logan actor Boyd Holbrook in the pic, which is currently in production in Canada.
Written and directed by Cabral, it follows Kaden, a world-class ski jumper in Whistler, Canada presented with the chance of reconnecting with his teenage sweetheart, and Khai, a corporate executive in Shanghai, China faced with the fact that the woman he fantasizes about on the internet now works in his office. The two men go about their lives, while one is awake, the other is asleep. They are, in some strange way, the same person. The question is what happens if they were ever to meet?.
Producers are Redrum Films’ Flora Fernandez Marengo and Chris Clark as well as Dave Valleau of South Creek Pictures. Holbrook serves as an executive producer. Protagonist Pictures is handling international sales, with CAA representing the domestic rights to the feature.
McElligot, Zhu, Yang, and Bridges are all repped by CAA. McElligott is also a client of Luber Roklin Entertainment and Sloane Offer Weber and Dern, while Zhu is with Brookside Artist Management and Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer Austen.
